​Victoria Zhang，whose pen name is Qiuxiao Yulan and whose Chinese name is Zhang Ling，is the author of the long non-fiction literature work "The Crown of Thorns “. The Chinese version was published in New York, USA in 2003, and the English version was published in USA in 2024. She immigrated to the United States in 1997, studied and worked hard, and soon served as the deputy director of the admissions department of ASA College in New York, USA. As an educator, she helped countless new immigrants build confidence and learn professional skills to enter mainstream American society. She is currently the president of Kunlun Press and CEO of Borderless Culture & Art Center ｛501(c)(3) ｝. In ASA College of New York, she once served as the deputy director of the admissions department, the director of community outreach, the director of culture and art center.She has long united many cultural and artistic groups in the community to initiate, organize, and plan large-scale series of cultural and artistic activities, art exhibitions on campus and in the communities, leading artists with different cultural backgrounds to use their works and actions to spread the human pursuit of truth, kindness, beauty, fraternity and peace. She is a member of PEN International. She has been interviewed by Chinese and English media newspapers and TV for many times, and has been invited to give lectures and recite her works in American universities, high schools, various organizations and literary groups. She has published poetry works and long non-fiction literature works, and has been selected into various anthologies. The KunLun Press which she presides over, has published almost 200 books so far. To assist in the overseas publication and global distribution of works that have been banned in authoritarian and totalitarian countries, or which cannot be published due to censorship. Mission: To embrace cultural traditions, preserve social and historical memory, build human solidarity, call for world peace, uphold social justice, prosper community culture, and promote social civilization. On March 11, 2025, she received an International Recognition: “Woman of the Year 2025 For Outstanding Leadership in Art, Science, Culture, Health and Education” from Global Women Foundation. This award is presented annually to 10 outstanding professional women from across the world.
